Model/Year: 3.0 CS - 1973   ( Color: Baikal )
VIN: 2240558
Build Date:
Vehicle Status: Seen in Ad
City, State/Province: Seattle, WA
Country: United States of America
Modifications: CS Registry Ad Dec 2007: Baikal Blue w/blue interior (originally red upholstery) VIN # 2240558 Mileage Unknown (Odometer Broken) - Previous owner said he purchased the car from his brother-in-law who had stored the car 10 year. It was purchased by us December 2004 for $6,000. We had the wiring harness gone over which took a lot of time by Huletz Electric in Seattle Wa. and cost $3,000. We also had a bunch of things repaired/replaced over the past couple of years for another $4,000 or so. I have all the paperwork if you're interested. We also have a spare harness that can go with the car from the same model and year as this car- just let me know if you want it. This car could be gorgeous with some work. It's a cool model and worth the effort!! It's a reasonable driver and a solid restoration candidate. The good - Body basically sound, some rust @ roof, left & right wheel wells. Shock towers solid- no rust there! Paint good from 10 feet- has some rust. We had some work done on it and used some of the parts from our parts car last year, this included the exhaust, some of the interior, the tires, the head covers the transmission mount. It has a factory installed sunroof and is fun to drive. The not-so-good- Seats need to be reupholstered there is rust (see photos) Only the driver's window is functional, there's an oil leak and the car has a rewired harness (have replacement used harness available from the parts car we bought last year. It has a sterio that worked until someone tried to steal it and we haven't had it reconnected. The driver's side turn signal lense cover is gone and I don't have a replacement, sorry. Please let me know if you have any questions, or would like to come see it. 206-860-0124. I still have some parts left from the parts car too, so let me know if you need anything. I've got a good gas tank, all the windows, a deck lid, chrome and a bunch of other misc. parts....... Thanks for looking
