General History: The car was originally a 1975 BMW 2500 CS that was converted and lightweighted by Alpina to B2 3.0 CSL specs. Alpina told seller that probably somebody took the cheapest model in order to do the conversion.

General History: Very Rare 1976 BMW 2.5CS E9 Coupe. Made for German market only. Only 744 of these cars made. Never wrecked, 220,000km. I'm the 2nd. owner of this car & imported it from Baden, West Germany in the late eighties. This car is physically identical to the BMW 3.0CS and is all original.
